The latest subject and/or object of Barnaby Joyce’s anger is Liberal Senator James Paterson. Joyce was on Sky News this week doing some word association related to Paterson’s confrontation with one of his party’s volunteers on the Farrer campaign trail.
“James Paterson is a younger man on $300,000 a year,” Joyce said, and he “goes up to that pensioner and puts James Paterson’s phone in his face” and then says “oh well you assaulted James Paterson”.
