Louis Partridge’s presence itself is a gift, at least in his eyes.
The actor, 23, recently took a friendship test with his Enola Holmes costar Millie Bobby Brown, 22, to see how well they actually know each other. During their questions with Glamour, Partridge was asked: “Did you get Millie a gift for her real-life wedding? If so, what was it?”
Before Partridge even finished reading the question aloud, Brown was already shaking her head and mouthing “no.” She answered before he could, “His presence,” before adding with a laugh, “Which was underwhelming.”

Just over a year after Brown and her husband, Jon Bon Jovi‘s son Jake Bongiovi, 24, announced their engagement, PEOPLE confirmed in May 2024 that the pair secretly married in a “very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family.” Several months later, the couple hosted a lavish wedding in Italy and shared photos on social media from their larger celebration in October 2024.
Partridge defended his choice to come to the wedding empty-handed by saying, “I distinctly remember the invite saying ‘no gifts.’ ” However, Brown debunked that. “No it didn’t. It never said that,” she replied while laughing. “S—!” Partridge said.
“That was crazy!” Brown said. Partridge joked back, “Good gaslighting.”
“But I think given that it was a destination wedding…” Partridge continued before he Brown began discussing a whale tale necklace he once gave her but she never wore.

Brown and Bongiovi welcomed their first child, a daughter, together via adoption in the summer of 2025. They have kept their daughter’s name private.
Back in February 2025, Brown reflected on what marriage has taught her so far.
“I think it’s just taught me how grateful you should be, to enjoy connection and love and friendship,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight. “I’ve had, you know, such a joy being able to be married for a year already. It’s felt like two seconds. I feel like it’s blinked … so I think just cherish and hold on to all the amazing moments you get to experience with your loved ones.”
