EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Wednesday made a flurry of roster moves.
Ahead of its Week 5 contest at New Orleans (1-3), Minnesota (4-0) signed veteran receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., to its practice squad, along with bringing back receiver Jeshaun Jones.
The Vikings also designated third-year center Michael Jurgens and second-year tight end Ben Yurosek to return from Injured Reserve after missing the first four games this season.
Beckham, 33, has familiarity with Head Coach Kevin O’Connell and Offensive Coordinator Wes Phillips as he signed with the Rams in November in 2021 and helped them win Super Bowl LVI over the Bengals. During those playoffs, Beckham had 21 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns, including a 17-yard score to open the Super Bowl. Beckham totaled 52 yards on two catches before leaving that game with an injury.
Beckham is a native of New Orleans and also is friends with Vikings star Justin Jefferson. He played at LSU from 2011-13, including one season with Jefferson’s older brother Jordan, who was a quarterback, before he was selected 12th overall by the Giants in the 2014 draft.
Minnesota faced Beckham in the preseason opener this year while he briefly reunited with New York. He has 575 receptions for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns in 122 career games.
Jones made his 2026 debut against Miami.
