Palace’s poor Forest recordpublished at 13:36 BST

“If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.” That seems to have been the approach of Oliver Glasner, who failed to win any of his five games against Forest as Palace boss before swapping Selhurst Park for the City Ground this summer.
Palace’s poor record in this fixture predates Glasner’s appointment in 2024, with the Londoners winless in all 12 Premier League meetings. That is the most they have faced an opponent in the competition without winning, and likewise the most games Forest have played against one side without losing.
A convincing case can be made that Glasner is the most successful manager in Palace’s history. The Austrian led them to their first two major honours – the FA Cup in 2025 and the Conference League a year later.
Some supporters may have been disappointed that he left to join a club who finished one place below Palace last season. However, owner Steve Parish has urged fans to give him a “fantastic reception” and ignore the “pantomime narratives”.
