Eddie Craven Receives Proposal to Fast-Track Homegrown Streamers To Kick Partner Status

Kick logo

Kick is frequently in the news for introducing new features for both streamers and viewers, but Eddie Craven has received a suggestion for a fast-track programme that could help support the platform’s homegrown streamers.

There has been considerable negativity surrounding Kick in recent weeks due to issues with KPP, which sparked rumours that the
platform was cutting rates. However, both Ethan Wright and Eddie Craven rejected these claims, attributing the KPP payment errors to
technical issues. Despite recording growth in 2026, Kick is reportedly still losing streamers. Eddie Craven has now received a proposal during Kick Talks that could help the platform retain and support homegrown talent by offering them a faster route to partner status.

Eddie Craven expresses desire to support homegrown Kick streamers by fast-tracking their partner status

During a recent Kick Talk, Eddie Craven was given an idea by a chatter that could potentially help Kick support creators who have stuck with the platform since its launch. As the screenshot below shows, the comment asked Eddie if Kick would look into supporting homegrown streamers who were struggling to hit the metrics of having an active community.
Craven replied that the idea was brilliant

and that the platform always talks about wanting to support creators who had started and built their careers on Kick.

Kick fast-track homegrown streamers

He went on to say that if a creator has “40 average concurrent viewers instead of the required 75”, Craven thought it wouldn’t be bad to boost their partner process. The co-founder elaborated by saying that Kick already considers creator followings from other platforms when fast-tracking applications, so maybe it should also recognize when people support the platform.

Eddie Craven also reiterated that this “wouldn’t be difficult to do”, and he later commented on X, saying that it “could be easy to get behind”. Kick Director Ethan Wright also commented on X, expressing his approval of the idea and saying he’ll see how it could work. This intuitive idea and Eddie’s reaction were met with positive feedback from other streamers, who took to X to state that this could be a game-changer for smaller creators who have been consistently streaming on Kick.

☑️ My Analysis: A potentially great move

Kick already has several fast-track programs for various creators, including
GTA RP streamers
and established talents who stream on other platforms. Creating a fast-track program exclusively for homegrown Kick streamers who have started and built their career on the platform will give them a reason to stay. This will also be beneficial in the sense that Kick wouldn’t just need to focus on attracting new streamers, as it can potentially help existing smaller creators grow.

While this all seems good to hear, there is still the matter of other criticism Kick is facing. These include KPP issues, viewbotting allegations, streamers not being paid
ad revenue, and whether fast-tracking partners will help small creators gain a viewership. Craven has consistently talked about wanting to better the platform for both streamers and viewers. He needs to be more transparent to quash the community’s fear, which could easily help Kick grow even more.
