David Jones will partner with Qantas’ popular frequent flier scheme as it faces off against long-time department store rival Myer’s own attempts at reinvigorating its lucrative loyalty program.
The tie-up with the country’s biggest airline is the centrepiece of a new loyalty program, David Jones Rewards, which will launch later this year. It also pits the 187-year-old emporium against former Qantas loyalty chief executive Olivia Wirth, who now runs Myer.
