The internet is abuzz with multiple reports claiming that the central government has declared a national holiday tomorrow, with some of them claiming that banks and even schools will remain closed across states. This has left many confused, especially in the wake of Eid al-Adha, also known as Bakrid.
Eid-ul-Adha, one of the major festivals celebrated by Muslims worldwide, is marked on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah.
On X, a few users have claimed that Friday is a public holiday, “leading to nationwide closures”.
