Attorney General Ken Paxton is targeting nearly 30 North Texas employers as part of an investigation into fraud involving the H-1B visa program.
The businesses are suspected of operating “ghost offices” without active operations in the state, Paxton’s office said in a Thursday announcement. He’s seeking records of all employees as well as financial statements from the companies.
