Status report

The Bruins, who held an optional morning skate, will dress the same lineup they used in a 3-0 win against the New York Rangers on Tuesday. … Poitras, a forward, travelled with the team. … McAvoy, a defenseman, served the second of his six-game suspension for slashing Buffalo Sabres forward Zach Benson during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First Round last season. … Salomonsson is expected to return in mid-October after the defenseman had surgery in April. … Björck and Bauer each will make his NHL debut. … Hellebuyck was suspended by the Jets after the goalie did not report to training camp.
