The cause of the fire is under investigation.
LARGO, Fla. — A cat was killed after a house fire in Largo Friday morning, fire rescue officials said.
The fire broke out just before 8 a.m. at 2051 North Overbrook Avenue.
Largo Fire Rescue confirmed one person was in the house at the time and evacuated with no injuries.
As of 9 a.m. the fire is under control and crews remain on site.
The cause is under investigation.
