Tim Clarke will depart IKON Park after the last five seasons as assistant coach.
The Carlton Football Club can confirm that Tim Clarke will depart IKON Park, having spent the last five seasons as part of the coaching group.
Having previously spent three seasons as the Blues’ midfield coach (2016-2018), he returned to the role at the end of 2022.
Following the 2025 season he stepped into a specialist assistant role focused on stoppages and structure, before becoming forwards coach during the 2026 season after Josh Fraser’s initial appointment as interim Senior Coach.
In 2023 Clarke was awarded the Phil Walsh Memorial Scholarship, in recognition of his 20-plus year career in football.
“Tim is a fantastic football person, who showed unwavering dedication to our program and our players every day he walked through the door,” Carlton General Manager of Football Chris Davies said.
“He has spent a total of eight seasons at our club during his coaching journey and we thank him for his positive contribution during that time, not just within the football department but across our club as a whole.
“Tim departs having forged many great friendships at the Club over his time and we wish him well into the future.”
