As part of the Sunday Worship series on Radio 4, the Bishop of Carlisle elect, Rob Saner-Haigh will highlight people working across Cumbria in the church, discussing their ministry and faith journeys.
The BBC Radio 4 guide said: “We’ll hear stories of mission and ministry rooted in this diverse landscape, from the coast at Workington to the market town of Penrith in the east, each reflecting how faith is lived and shared in different contexts across the county.”

The church in Cumbria is no stranger to being featured on the BBC with BBC’s Bargain Hunt spotted filming at Carlisle Cathedral in recent days as part of an upcoming episode.
The Sunday Worship programme will be led by Bishop Rob and is set to be broadcast on Sunday, August 24 at 8am.
