Hottest 100 fever has well and truly taken hold, with triple j’s 2025 countdown and Double J’s replay of the Hottest 100 from 20 years ago keeping listeners glued to the radio all weekend.
We’re not ready for that fun to end just yet — so we’re jumping back another decade to dust off the Hottest 100 of 1995!
It’s a seriously great list — one of the truly legendary Hottest 100s — and since we’ve never played it out on Double J before, we figured now’s the perfect time to make it happen.
Michael Hing and Dylan Lewis will count down a stack of classics all week — from international heavyweights like Oasis, Jeff Buckley and Björk to Aussie icons like You Am I, TISM and Regurgitator.
Hear it on Double J at 9am and 5pm from Tuesday to Thursday, with the final batch of songs landing on Friday morning.
