Wolves are expected to make changes to their goalkeeping department this summer, and Jacob Widell Zetterstrom is thought to be on the club’s radar.
Jose Sa was the number one for the majority of last season, with Sam Johnstone having a stint between the sticks in the early stages of the campaign.
Johnstone actually did well at times, but was eventually replaced by Sa when Rob Edwards succeeded Vitor Pereira as manager.

But there has long been a feeling that Wolves need an established number one, who is younger.
Both Sa and Johnstone are 33, and both are also on high wages.
Rob Edwards was going to sit down with both Sa and Johnstone to discuss their futures before he was sacked. Cesar Peixoto will surely do the same now he’s in charge.
It’s thought least one will depart this summer, and Jacob Widell Zetterström looks like he could be a genuinely good addition.

A few days ago, Fabrizio Romano reported on X that Wolves were looking at Why Wolves should try to sign Zetterström, who plays his club football with Derby County.
He said on X: “Widell Zetterstrom made today his first start for Sweden in a huge debut.
“Eintracht Frankfurt and Leeds United both made contact to ask for an asking) price recently, as Wolves too.”
Zetterstrom joined Derby in the summer of 2024 from Djurgardens IF in his homeland and he has established himself as one of the better stoppers in the Championship since his arrival.
Last term, he kept seven clean sheets in 33 appearances, which is not especially high, but he impressed.
He had a save percentage of 71.43% in the Championship. For context, this was higher than both Sa and Johnstone in the Premier League (64% and 62% respectively).
And Zetterstrom actually outperformed the Wolves pair in several other metrics, although he did play more minutes.
Zetterstrom impressed so much that he got called up to Sweden’s final World Cup squad, and he has managed to get minutes under his belt at the tournament, playing against Japan.
He is seen as a goalkeeper who commands his area very well, and has good agility, allowing him to make reflex saves. He is also a dab hand at saving penalties, having made four for Derby to date.
Wolves have also been linked with sweeper-keeper Nikolas Polster, who may also make for a decent addition this summer.
But the fact Zetterstrom is a bit more experienced at the age of 27 and also has international experience might suggest him as the better option.
Zetterstrom’s pass accuracy from last season is perhaps a little on the low side, with Peixoto liking to build from the back.
But perhaps the Portuguese will feel there is something to work with
