It has been a busy few months for Nico Echavarria and new wife Claudia De Antonio. Echavarria and his longtime girlfriend tied the knot just before the start of the PGA Tour season.

The couple announced on social media that the wedding took place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on November 29, 2025. Additionally, the couple is moving into a new house that was purchased during the Cognizant Classic tournament.

“A day we will never stop reliving 🤍,” De Antonio detailed in a January 16, 2026, Instagram post that included a wedding video. “November 29, 2025 Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.”

Following the wedding, Echavarria and De Antonio honeymooned in South Africa.

“Honeymoon Pupis Part Three,” De Antonio remarked in a December 22, Instagram message sharing photos from the couple’s honeymoon. “Sabi Sabi Game Reserve, South Africa 🇿🇦 A life-changing trip we will remember forever.”

Here’s what you need to know about Echavarria and his new wife.

Nico Echavarria & Wife Claudia De Antonio Share a Passion for Golf

On the course, Echavarria appears to be adjusting just fine to playing golf as a new husband. Echavarria was in contention during the final round of the Cognizant Classic.

It helps that the couple shares a passion for golf. Back in 2023, De Antonio posted a heartfelt message about her favorite golfer’s career.

“It hasn’t all been smiles and birdies, but thanks to your perseverance and the team you’ve built over the years, we’ve managed to turn those not-so-great moments into the best,” De Antonio posted in a March 8, 2023, Instagram message (translated from Spanish).

“You’ve shown that with hard work, anything is possible, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds. Congratulations, my love, you deserve everything in this world. On the golf course, and even more so off it.”

Nico Echavarria’s Wife Claudia Played Golf at LSU

Like Echavarria, De Antonio is also a talented golfer. De Antonio played golf at LSU and announced a partnership with apparel company Marie Birdie back in November.

“In collaboration with @claudiadeantonio, The Claudia Dress draws inspiration from Claudia’s years in competitive golf and her eye for understated luxury — a statement of grace, strength, and timeless design,” Marie Birdie noted in a November 9, Instagram post. “Claudia grew up playing competitive golf in Venezuela and Colombia. She then went on to play in Florida at American Heritage and in college at LSU.

“Having played in many uncomfortable and unflattering golf clothes, she knew she wanted to be a part of the evolution of golf clothes for women. She worked closely with Team MB to find high quality fabric that looks cute for everyday wear but also is breathable and functional for 18 holes.”

Nico Echavarria & Wife Claudia Are Moving to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

More changes are on the horizon for the couple. During the Cognizant Classic, Echavarria revealed that the couple is moving to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to be closer to family. With the help of De Antonio, the couple closed on a new house during the tournament.

“We don’t have any family in Jacksonville,” Echavarria told reporters on February 28. “We just got married. We want to have kids soon. So that extra help with my wife’s parents that live 45 minutes to an hour away would be huge. We travel a lot, so that’s kind of the decision that we made.

“… We actually got the house yesterday. We’re building a house. We’re still going to do some touches to the house. So probably in two, three weeks we’ll be moved.”
