Cameron Kinch, a 22-year-old farmer from Somerset, has been handed a golden ticket to the final of this year’s ITV2 Big Brother final – putting him one step closer to winning himself £100,000.

On November 11, the farmer from Taunton was up against fellow contestant Jenny after a game which saw them voted to have brought the most positivity to the house, according to their housemates. Emily, another contestant on the show this year, was voted the least positive after several rounds and confessed she felt she had “no friends” in the house.
In a final plea to be voted through to the final, Cameron and Jenny spoke to the housemates, with each other not in the room. With Jenny behind a closed door, Cameron emotionally opened up to the rest of the Big Brother house about what he would do if he won the 2025 show, netting £100,000 in the process.
Cameron said: “If I was to win, I’d be using the money to possibly pay for family farm tax more so than anything else.
“I’d lose sleep over what it might mean for the farm.”
Cameron was then seen visibly upset, coming to tears whilst trying to convince his fellow housemates that he should reach the Big Brother 2025 final.
Cameron continued: “It’s a really s*** position that a farmer has to come on here to try and win £100,000 to try and save their farm, it is not fair.
“The farm is your lifestyle, it’s your way of life, and you are on the farm all the time, 24/7. But you do it to hand it over to your kids, your grandkids. It’s your legacy and every field means something to you – especially when the farm has been in your family for generations and generations.
“You work from that farm day and night, and when you are working for sort of no money, but when you have that farm, and to think it could be whacked away from you at the last moment.”
For those who haven’t been keeping up with the reality TV show this year, Cameron was one of 12 housemates who entered the Big Brother house on September 28 – a place where he has remained ever since.
Over time, he has seen his fellow contestants depart the show through housemate and public viewer evictions, with Cameron only nominated for eviction once throughout the whole series.
Before this series started filming, Cameron was asked if he had any sort of strategy for making the final.
“I guess it sounds quite boring, but just being myself,” Cameron replied to the question. “I think if you try to put on a persona, you’re going to get found out – you can’t keep that up. I just want to enjoy the experience.
“If I make friends, I make friends; if I make enemies, I make enemies.”
After both Cameron and Jenny staked their respective claims on why they should be let through to the final, Richard, another housemate on the reality show, spoke on behalf of the rest of the house to confirm who they chose.
In the end, an emotional Cameron was granted the pass to the final by his other housemates, after he spoke about how he would use the prize money to pay the family farm tax and continue his family’s legacy.
Richard explained: “The reason we have chosen the one of you we have chosen is that we felt one of you spoke with such sincerity, depth of feeling and genuine quality, you both spoke in a genuine way but one we felt had the edge.”
Cameron is the first contestant this year to reach the Big Brother final. He is considered one of the favourites for the ITV2 show – which will conclude with a final show on Friday, November 14, 2025.
