Stan Sport secures Premier League broadcasting deal to stream soccer until 2034

Nine Entertainment has extended its deal to put the English Premier League on its Stan Sport streaming platform in a nearly decade-long, billion-dollar bet that it can grow the fan base and charge more as top-tier sporting assets surge in value.

The Australian media group announced on Thursday that it had extended its streaming and broadcast contract with the Premier League until the 2033-34 season in a deal estimated to be worth around $US600 million ($830 million).
