The new site near Berlin Central Station offers ultra‑fast charging and targets commuters, taxis and urban drivers.

TotalEnergies has opened a flagship electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in central Berlin, expanding its ultra‑fast charging network at one of the city’s busiest transport locations. The new facility is located near Berlin Central Station on Invalidenstrasse and features 18 charging points, each capable of delivering up to 400 kW.

The site is fully powered by electricity from renewable sources, backed by certified guarantees of origin. Designed to serve a wide range of users, the hub targets commuters, office workers in the nearby Europacity district, taxi operators and private drivers accessing the station or surrounding cultural venues. Its central location positions it as a high‑traffic charging destination within the urban mobility network.

All charging points are covered, and the site includes two accessible charging bays alongside additional services such as tire pressure stations and vacuum cleaners. The layout is aimed at combining high‑power charging with everyday convenience features.

“With our new flagship charging hub at Berlin Central Station, we are bringing high‑performance fast charging to where it is needed most: a central transport hub with high traffic,” said Jan Petersen, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Charging Solutions Germany. He added that the project supports the company’s broader strategy to expand fast‑charging infrastructure and contribute to transport decarbonization in the German capital.

The Berlin hub builds on previous deployments, including a large charging site at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, as TotalEnergies continues to develop high‑capacity charging locations across key mobility corridors.
