British TV presenter Alison Hammond has updated fans after rushing off the set of UK show This Morning due to a sudden health scare.
The 51-year-old was presenting Friday’s episode live when she was seen holding a hand to her chest and making a swift exit before an ad break.

The beloved presenter’s unexpected disappearance prompted concern from viewers, with Hammond revealing she had been taken to hospital to get her heart checked.
“Hello my lovelies, I know you’re all worried about me,” she told her 1.9 million Instagram followers from a hospital bed.
“Honestly I am fine, first of all. I’m getting me old ticker checked out, I had a little bit of a palpitation, and now I’m getting it all checked out, but I think I’m okay.
“I’m hoping it’s just a little panic attack or something like that,” she added while lying in a hospital gown.
Hammond apologised for abruptly leaving the program, saying it wasn’t something she would normally do.
“So you know I wasn’t very well but hopefully, I’m going to be alright. The doctors are so lovely, and they’re checking me out. And hopefully, everything is going to be fine,” she said.
Despite the scare, the presenter appeared in good spirits and joked she was still wearing her television make-up.
“Well everything is fine, look I’m rocking it, I’ve still got my make-up on from This Morning. Lush, love you Babs.”

Fans became concerned about the Great British Bake Off host after she appeared unwell during a segment with vet Dr Scott Miller.
Hammond was seen leaving the sofa while breathing heavily before the program cut to an ad break.
When the show returned, co-host Dermot O’Leary appeared visibly concerned, telling viewers that Hammond had to “duck out”.
“Welcome back to This Morning, Ali is feeling just a little unwell so she’s just had to duck out,” he said.
“Hopefully, she’ll be back in a sec.”

O’Leary later updated viewers that she would, in fact, not be returning, explaining, “so I’ll be here for the rest of the show”.
Hammond rose to fame on Big Brother in 2002 and became a regular This Morning presenter in 2021.
She has also co-hosted The Great British Bake Off since 2023 and took over as host of For the Love of Dogs in 2024.
