Bayern Munich have continued their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga, a run that goes back as far as 24th January where they lost 2-1 at home to Augsburg.

Their start to the new season has seen them dominate Stuttgart 5-1 on the opening day, followed by a frustrating goalless draw away at Schalke. Vincent Kompany’s side returned to winning ways last week, with a 2-1 win away to a side playing their first ever season in the German top flight in Elversberg.

It wasn’t plain sailing by any means for the German champions, as the Bundesliga newboys scored to level the game in the second half before Harry Kane did what he does best, scoring the winner to give Vincent Kompany’s side all three points.

That being said, in their third season under Vincent Kompany, Bayern have already started to look dominant again.

They’ve held more possession than any other side in the league, an average of 67% across their opening three fixtures, and have had 63 shots – second only to Bayer Leverkusen.

They will expect to keep up this dominance on tonight and further extend their unbeaten run.
