  • Temperatures briefly fall below normal for the end of the week

This evening planner

Skies will remain partly cloudy this evening with isolated showers and storms at about 20% coverage. Not everyone sees rain this evening. Any storm that does develop will have a very low severe weather threat of strong wind gusts and small hail. After sunset a lot of these storms will weaken and dissipate.

Warm and humid again on Wednesday

Temperatures go down a little bit on Wednesday but it will still be warm and humid. These temperatures will be very seasonal for this time of year. We should see plenty of sunshine during the day with clouds slowly building in the afternoon. Isolated storms are possible once again late Wednesday afternoon and into the evening but the coverage looks even lower at about 10%.

Unsettled weather returns

We are still in an unsettled weather pattern where we have some sunshine and plenty of heat and humidity during the day then pop-up thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Typically in this pattern storms will weaken and dissipate around sunset. We don’t have a classic severe weather set-up with these kinds of storms but we can’t rule out isolated severe wind and hail.

A break in the 90’s

As rain chances return this week and clouds increase by midweek, temperatures should at least temporarily go down for a few days. It will still be humid despite the slightly below normal temperatures.

14 Day Forecast

As we begin the month of June our weather pattern continues to look unstable with several chances of rain and storms. With increasing chances of rain and storms, temperatures should be below normal for at least a few days this week. For now, we see fewer rain chances in the second week of June allowing afternoon highs to slowly creep up.
