Temperatures warm up Easter Sunday, but the chance for spring showers remains

Easter Sunday looks decent, though not perfect.

We’ll see variably cloudy skies with a chance of a few afternoon showers, and highs reaching the low 50s. It won’t be a washout by any means, but you may want to keep an eye on the sky if you have outdoor plans.

Another weak front is ushered in behind yesterday’s system.  This will bring a 40% chance for rain for the afternoon today, likely around 3-5 pm.

Behind this system, cooler air settles in to start the week.

Monday brings sunshine, but cooler temperatures with highs around 40°. Tuesday stays seasonably cool in the mid 40s, with the next chance of showers arriving late at night.

Then, a big warm-up arrives midweek.

Wednesday looks very mild with highs soaring into the mid 60s, along with a few isolated showers. That warmth doesn’t fully stick, but it does signal a more active pattern ahead.
