Argentina avoided a World Cup shock after being taken to extra time by Cabo Verde, winning 3-2 in Miami.
The game finished 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Lionel Messi put Argentina in front on 29 minutes when he lifted a shot into the net after a stunning pass from Lisandro Martinez.
Cabo Verde shocked the holders on 59 minutes when Deroy Duarte drilled a shot into the bottom corner to equalise.
Argentina had chances to win the game in the 90 minutes, but 40-year-old Cabo Verde keeper Vozinha made a number of saves, including one from Messi at point-blank range.

Martinez put Argentina back in front in the second minute of extra time with a shot into the roof of the net.
But Cabo Verde fought back again and levelled with a stunning curling shot from Sidny Lopes Cabral.
The winner came after 111 minutes when Cristian Romero glanced a header from a corner and the ball went in off the arm of Diney Borges.
Cabo Verde’s World Cup adventure is over as Argentina moves on to the round of 16 and a clash with Egypt.
