Free agent center Brook Lopez agreed to a two-year, $18 million deal with the LA Clippers, sources told ESPN on Monday.

The Clippers and Lopez’s agents at Wasserman negotiated a deal for the 2021 NBA champion to leave Milwaukee and land in Los Angeles.

Lopez, 37, has played 17 years in the NBA. The past seven seasons were with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he won an NBA title after the 2020-21 regular season.

He is one of the NBA’s premier 3-point shooting big men, a coveted archetype in the league. Lopez is the only player in NBA history with 2,000 career blocks and 1,000 career 3-pointers.

In 80 games last season with the Bucks, Lopez averaged 13 points, 5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.9 blocks. His 2,546 minutes were the third most of his career and the most since 2010-11.

He became a free agent after wrapping up a two-year, $48 million deal with Milwaukee.
