The TV star returned to social media after ‘shutting off from the world’

Stacey Solomon sent a message to fans as she shared an adorable family update. The Sort Your Life Out star often shares aspects of family life to her followers on Instagram. In a recent post, she shared a roundup of snaps taken in April, as she closed off the month and welcomed in May.

It was Stacey’s first post on social media in more than a month, as she took a short break away from the limelight. The 36-year-old made headlines when she was spotted without her wedding ring. Stacey shut down any split rumours during an appearance on This Morning, but fans have continued to speculate online.

Stacey met her husband Joe Swash while filming ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010. They started a relationship in 2016 and later tied the knot in 2022. The couple live in a stunning home called Pickle Cottage in Essex.

Stacey and Joe share son Rex, six, and daughters Rose, four, and Belle, two. Stacey also has older sons Zachary, 18, with former partner Dean Cox, and Leighton, 13, with ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.

Amid ongoing rumours, Stacey broke the silence with a post on Instagram. She shared some photos of the family enjoying some time outdoors. We had some glorious weather in April in the UK, and Stacey shared a glimpse into her life at Pickle Cottage.

Joe was not featured in the photographs, but Stacey shared adorable snaps of her children and pets, as well as some aesthetic photos of nature.

Stacey wrote: “A slow April, in our little world…missed coming on here and chatting to you all, but had a lovely April shutting off from the world and just being. Hope you’re all OK.”

One fan said: “Missed you.” A second wrote: “Awhhh so lovely. Missed you! Hope you’re all OK, sending lots of love to you all.”

A third said: “Sooo missed your lovely family memories. Glad you’re back on Instagram. Can’t wait to see the Stacey and Joe show.”

Another added: “We miss you so much, but we’re so incredibly glad that you’ve taken time out for you and your family. That’s so important. Xxx.”

Stacey replied to the comments on her post, she said: “Your comments on here are so lovely, thank you.”

The family have welcomed fans into their home over the years, most recently as part of their BBC fly-on-the-wall documentary, called Stacey and Joe.

In the opening series, viewers watched across six episodes as moments from the life of Stacey and Joe were shown to millions. Special moments included Stacey winning an NTA, to the couple navigating Joe’s ADHD diagnosis and Stacey’s son receiving his GCSE results.

The BBC recently confirmed a third series of Stacey and Joe is coming to BBC One and iPlayer.

Speaking about what to expect from the new series, BBC said: “With five children at home, a menagerie of animals and a house that’s always full, viewers are once again immersed in the couple’s relatable, hands-on approach to parenting, homemaking and life.”
