UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) — The NYPD is on the hunt for an assailant who punched a 94-year-old man on Tuesday, police said.
Officers say an unknown man approached a victim inside an Apple store at 940 Madison Ave. and then punched him in the face. The force of the punch caused the victim to fall to the floor. The victim sustained minor injuries but is expected to survive, according to authorities.
The assailant fled on foot to parts unknown. He was last seen traveling northbound on Madison Avenue. He is described as a man with a slim build. Believed to be around six feet tall and was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and tan shoes.
